Summer travel is an invitation to enjoy the sun, the sea and the freedom to dress lightly. But packing the ideal suitcase - the one that combines comfort, style and functionality - can make all the difference between a relaxing getaway and one full of "why didn't I bring it? Here's a practical guide to help you pack the right stuff... and the best.
1. Light and versatile clothing
Prioritize fresh clothes, made of fabrics such as linen, cotton or bamboo. Baggy pants, sarong dresses, basic T-shirts and a white shirt (that goes with everything) will be your best allies. Choose light or neutral tones that combine with each other to create different looks with just a few pieces.
2. Swimsuits for every moment
Pack at least two swimsuits: one for sunbathing and one for swimming comfortably. All our resorts and hotels have exclusive areas, a more elegant swimsuit never hurts. And don't forget a sarong or beach wrap that you can also wear for a casual lunch.
3. Protection with style
A wide hat or cap, sunglasses with a good UV filter and a kimono or kaftan to cover you without suffocating you are essential. Add a lightweight tote bag or waterproof backpack to carry the necessities without hassle.
4. Footwear for carefree enjoyment
A pair of comfortable sandals for walking, flip-flops for the beach and maybe some more formal (but cooler) shoes if you have special dinners. Remember that our resorts have outdoor activities, so consider light tennis shoes as well.
5. Extras that make a difference
Pack a reusable thermos, a good sunscreen, a light book or your favorite headphones for relaxing moments. And if you're one of those who can't leave your camera behind, make sure to bring a waterproof one or a case to capture every moment without worries.
