We met with Nareeza at one of her favorite spots, Hunter’s Point South Park in New York, to hear her unique perspective on New York City. This is what she told us:

What makes Hunter’s Point South Park special for you?

Hunter’s Point South Park is my special place with incredible views of the city. It’s the perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of the New York skyline.

What are your top culinary picks in New York?

I love the city’s diverse food scene. Indian cuisine is one of my favorites, and The Halal Guys’ Chicken and Gyro Platter is a dish you can’t miss. And, of course, classic New York pizza is always on my list.

Which cultural or historical landmarks do you appreciate most?

Grand Central Terminal and the Broadway Theatre District top my list. The architecture of Grand Central is stunning, and Broadway shows are a quintessential New York experience.

How do you like to unwind in the city?

Central Park is my go-to spot to relax. It’s a refuge from the city’s hustle and bustle. I also enjoy the vibrant energy of Times Square when I need a change of pace.

What type of music do you listen to most often?

My playlist includes chutney, soca, reggae, and Indian music.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I would love to visit Paris. The Eiffel Tower, the charming streets, and the amazing food make it my dream destination.

Is there any hidden gem in New York you would recommend to members?

The place we’re at, Hunter’s Point South Park. It’s a great spot for a peaceful retreat with spectacular views.
